ABOUT THE PROVIDERS

Neetu Talreja, MD

Principal Investigator

    Dr. Talreja has a great love of people and is conscientious in her efforts to deliver the highest quality care to her patients. Dr. T’s philosophy of medicine is one of communication and alliance with her patients to find solutions to all of their conditions. She is a firm believer in taking the time to listen to her patients and to educate them about their conditions and the treatment options that exist. Being a part of clinical research allows Dr. T to provide additional therapy options and the most up to date treatments to fit the individual needs of her patients.

    Akshay Gupta, MD

    Sub-Investigator

      Dr. Gupta completed medical school at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, India. He did his internal medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA. He went on to complete a Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. He received additional training in interventional endoscopy, ERCP, and endoscopic ultrasound at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. He was in private practice for a year in Wichita, KS, before moving to Boise in 2013. Dr. Gupta is excited to offer our patients more therapy options and solutions through medical research. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, running, and traveling.

        Stacy Gonzales. CRC, CMA

        Site Director

          Stacy started as the Site Director at Treasure Valley Medical Research in February 2021.  She has 17 years experience in the medical field, prior to focusing on clinical research her primary experience was in Oncology (surgical and medical), Interventional Radiology, and Internal Medicine.   At Treasure Valley Medical Research, she provides site navigation services for multiple trials including site selection, accelerated start-up (Contracts and budgets), enrollment and close out activities.  Stacy is an Idaho native who enjoys spending time with her family, boating, fishing, and painting.

          Cheri Hogue, CRC, CMA

            Cheri is a clinical Research Coordinator and has been with TVMR for 3 years. She began her journey working in family practice for 8 years. There she built a solid foundation of knowledge, and brought this with her into the research field. She most enjoys being immersed in such a rewarding and fascinating field while continuing to provide direct patient care. She is an Idaho native who loves to venture into the great outdoors.  

            Cheri Hogue, CRC, CMA

              Cheri is a clinical Research Coordinator and has been with TVMR for 3 years. She began her journey working in family practice for 8 years. There she built a solid foundation of knowledge, and brought this with her into the research field. She most enjoys being immersed in such a rewarding and fascinating field while continuing to provide direct patient care. She is an Idaho native who loves to venture into the great outdoors.  

              A.M. CRC, CMA

                A.M. is a clinical research coordinator, certified medical assistant, and certified IV technician with 6 years of experience in the medical industry. She likes to think of herself as our clinic’s pediatric specialist! I have run several pediatric studies ranging from Eczema to Allergies. She also coordinates adult dermatology and immunology studies! She will always be an advocate for your health, her only goal is to ensure your safety and comfort both in and out of our clinic. She is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about driving innovation in healthcare.  

                Stephanie Gil, CRC, CMA

                  Stephanie has been working in the medical field since she was 16. She loves working with patients and working in medical research. Stephanie joined Treasure Valley Medical Research in February 2023, Stephanie grew up in Texas, but she and her husband  moved to Idaho about 13 years ago, and never left. Stephanie has been married for 16 years. Has 2 sons, the oldest is 15 and the youngest is 2. She lives in Parma, Idaho. In her spare time you will find her with her family hanging out at home or with their best friends. She enjoys fishing, cooking, and playing with her boys.

                    Makyla Mills, Recruitment Specialist

                      Makyla joined our research team part time in the fall of 2022.  She is responsible for patient recruitment and assisting the team when needed.  She is currently enrolled at Boise State University focusing on a degree in Medical Specialities.  From there her plan is to attend medical school.  In her freetime she enjoys reading and spending time with her fuzzy feline companions- Jewels and Pearl.

                      Makyla Mills, Recruitment Specialist
